TL;DR:
- Liquidation of reserves: AIxCrypto Holdings reported the sale of 33.49 BTC, 497.56 ETH, and 6,325.92 SOL.
- Realized loss: The company acknowledged an unrealized negative balance close to 50% on its balance sheets.
- New focus: The recovered capital will fund the commercial development of its robotics platform, RoboShare.
Nasdaq-listed tech micro-cap AIxCrypto Holdings (AIXC) liquidated the entirety of its crypto treasury on Friday, September 4, to pivot its business model toward robotics.
Confirmation of the sale came via an official amendment filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Form S-1. The corporate move brings an end to an experiment in corporate reserve accumulation after the company sustained an unrealized depreciation of nearly 50% in the value of its holdings.
According to the breakdown as of August 31 disclosed in regulatory filings, the firm executed the sale of 33.49 units of Bitcoin, 497.56 of Ethereum, and 6,325.92 of Solana. Additionally, the filing reflects the full exit from smaller positions in Chainlink (LINK), Binance Coin (BNB), and Cardano (ADA).
In its filing, AIXC formally described its XRP holdings as “immaterial.” According to market analysis, this characterization reflects an executive messaging strategy aimed at emphasizing that the financial impairment stemmed from declines in large-cap assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, rather than its marginal position in the Ripple token.
Operational Restructuring and Contrasts in Institutional Adoption

This strategic pivot distances the company from its previous background in the pharmaceutical sector (when it operated as Qualigen Therapeutics) and concludes its phase of acquiring decentralized tokens. According to corporate disclosures, the proceeds from this divestment—estimated at approximately $4.82 million—will be injected into the RoboShare commercial platform.
The system operates as a rental and shared-use model for robotic devices. Under this framework, management aims to generate measurable operating cash flows through subscription services, pivoting away from the volatility inherent to the crypto-asset market.
The retreat of micro-caps amid steep altcoin drawdowns is not an isolated phenomenon within the corporate ecosystem. Japanese firm Remixpoint executed a similar divestment in recent months, liquidating its reserves of ETH, SOL, DOGE, and 1.19 million XRP to acquire energy storage systems. However, unlike AIXC’s outright capitulation, the Japanese company retained its Bitcoin holdings in treasury.
According to SEC filing data, larger institutional players are increasingly opting for indirect exposure vehicles. For instance, Kinetics Funds disclosed the acquisition of Ripple Labs Class A Preferred Stock rather than holding volatile tokens directly on its balance sheet, while specialized firms such as Evernorth are structuring vehicles to maintain strategic reserves in public markets.
AIXC management stated that its upcoming operational phases focus on finalizing robot lease agreements in Los Angeles before commencing RoboShare’s expansion into additional metropolitan markets.
