Goldman Sachs has re-established a significant position in the XRP ETF market, reporting approximately $86.5 million in combined exposure across five products during the second quarter of 2026.

The development comes as XRP trades near $1.40, with the token gaining 3.53% over the last 24 hours and about 40% during the past two days, according to the latest market data.

The investment bank, which manages more than $4 trillion in assets, distributed its exposure among Bitwise, Franklin, Canary, 21Shares and Grayscale XRP products rather than concentrating the position in one fund.

Goldman Sachs Expands Its XRP ETF Exposure

Goldman Sachs reported approximately $25.76 million in the Bitwise XRP ETF, $25.41 million in the Franklin XRP Trust, $19.49 million in the Canary XRP ETF, $8.21 million in the 21Shares XRP ETF and $7.66 million in the Grayscale XRP Trust.

The combined exposure places Goldman among the most significant institutional holders of XRP ETF products. Q2 filings also show the bank opened a position worth about $24.4 million in the Canary XRP ETF, while its Bitwise position was valued near $25.8 million.

Goldman’s latest disclosure is notable because its previous filing showed no XRP ETF holdings. The bank had also previously reported a substantially larger position, showing that its exposure has changed across reporting periods.

Goldman Sachs has also participated in the ETF ecosystem as an authorized participant, a role that can involve helping create and redeem ETF shares and supporting the infrastructure behind these products.

The latest filing indicates that institutional access to XRP is becoming more established through regulated investment vehicles, giving traditional financial institutions additional ways to gain exposure to the asset.

XRP Rally Meets Growing Institutional Activity

XRP is currently trading around $1.40, gaining 3.53% in the last 24 hours and approximately 40% across the past two days. The move has increased attention on ETF demand, liquidity and institutional positioning.

The broader XRP investment market is attracting more institutional participation. Q2 data shows that 70 tracked institutional investors held positions in the Bitwise XRP ETF, with combined holdings reaching $71.7 million, up 149% from the previous quarter.

Beyond ETFs, activity on the XRP Ledger is expanding toward institutional credit and financial infrastructure. Ripple, Clearpool and Cicada Partners are developing lending infrastructure for businesses including fintech and payment companies.
