Robinhood’s RWA activity is accelerating as its newly launched blockchain attracts increasing attention from users and developers. According to the latest figures reported on August 10, transfer volume linked to real-world assets has climbed to approximately $1.65 billion, up 3,201.20% over the past month.

The jump is particularly notable because Robinhood Chain is still in its early stages. The network officially went live on July 1 as an Ethereum Layer 2 built using Arbitrum technology, with tokenized financial assets positioned at the center of its design.
Robinhood’s RWA Growth Accelerates
The latest transfer figures show how quickly activity can expand when traditional financial products gain access to blockchain infrastructure. Robinhood’s previous reported monthly figure was around $800 million in late July, meaning the latest $1.65 billion reading represents a sharp increase in a relatively short period.
This growth follows several developments across the network. Robinhood Chain supports tokenized stocks and ETFs, while Chainlink provides data and cross-chain infrastructure for the network’s Stock Tokens. Partners including 1inch and 0x have also integrated with the chain to improve liquidity and asset movement across the onchain ecosystem.
The broader market is also showing stronger interest in tokenized assets. CoinDesk reported in July that tokenized RWAs on Robinhood Chain had reached roughly $70 million in value, around five times higher than less than two weeks earlier. The same report noted that several tokenized stocks were already generating substantial daily trading volumes.
Tokenized Markets Gain Broader Reach
Robinhood’s strategy goes beyond simply adding crypto assets to an existing brokerage platform. Its blockchain allows supported assets to be held, transferred and used within onchain applications, creating infrastructure for markets that can operate outside traditional trading hours. This expands the potential utility of tokenized financial products beyond conventional market structures.
Robinhood has also used its acquisition of Bitstamp to strengthen its international crypto infrastructure. The exchange operates across multiple regions and gives Robinhood an institutional crypto business alongside its retail operations. That combination gives the company additional infrastructure as demand for digital assets expands globally.
