Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge said that the team completed a whitehat operation after an exploit was discovered in Flooring Protocol. He said 68 NFTs are now safely in Yuga Labs custody, including Bored Apes, Mutant Apes, CryptoPunks, Azuki, Elementals, Captains, a Moonbird and Doodles.

The action affects holders and collections exposed through Flooring Protocol while developers work on a fix. Figge credited 0xQuit with recovering the assets and said coffee identified that the same vulnerability posed broader risk, making the rescue a defensive intervention before further damage spread.

The next point to watch is the return process. Figge said GrailsOTC covered upfront costs and that Yuga Labs will work with protocol developers to return the NFTs, while the protocol update remains the practical safeguard before assets move back.
