AllUnity said that it intends to launch SEKAU, a fully reserved and MiCAR-compliant Swedish krona-backed stablecoin. According to the announcement, SEKAU is planned as a regulated e-money token redeemable at par value and backed 1:1 by Swedish krona reserves.

The planned launch targets financial institutions, fintechs and enterprises seeking 24/7 settlement, cross-border payments and programmable finance tied to Sweden’s currency. AllUnity said the product is planned for June 2026 after regulatory engagement and operational readiness, while its portfolio would expand beyond EURAU and CHFAU.

Alongside SEKAU, AllUnity launched Agentic Payments, a capability for businesses to accept and settle AI-native payments. The next point to watch is execution, as SEKAU’s launch still depends on regulatory and operational steps before the planned June rollout.
