The corporate consulting giant Deloitte finalized the talent acquisition (“acqui-hire”) of the crypto infrastructure firm Blocknative. The company confirmed the information this Tuesday, adding that key members of its technical team will integrate into the firm to drive Web3 innovation within Deloitte’s global client portfolio, while Blocknative begins the definitive cessation of its autonomous commercial operations.

This strategic move occurs amid a notable wave of consolidation in the crypto market, where critical infrastructure providers face deep restructurings. Blocknative, founded in 2018 and recognized for its mempool monitoring and gas fee prediction tools, will begin the gradual shutdown of its API and its Gas Network, maintaining the operability of its services only until this coming June 19.

As a next step, the ecosystem is witnessing a transition where traditional corporations absorb decentralized technical capabilities to expand their blockchain auditing and consulting offerings. Current Blocknative users must migrate their transaction flows and price oracles to management alternatives before the deadline established for the definitive closure of the platform.
