World Mobile unveiled the EarthNode Agentic Ecosystem, a new infrastructure layer built to support autonomous AI agents with sovereign identity, private networking, secure compute, and edge AI inference across its decentralized physical node network. The company said the launch expands its role beyond telecom infrastructure into AI-native services and machine-to-machine coordination.

The system is structured around four core services: EarthVault for post-quantum encrypted storage, EarthMesh for private agent-to-agent networking, EarthCompute for isolated task execution, and EarthInfer for decentralized inference at the edge. World Mobile said each agent receives a decentralized identity through World Mobile DID, while payments run through WMTx using a micropayment model for storage, compute, inference, bandwidth, and service-to-service transactions.

World Mobile said the network already includes more than 130,000 AirNodes globally plus a growing EarthNode backbone, framing the infrastructure as a real-world asset base for AI services settled on-chain. The ecosystem is live on testnet now, with mainnet deployment planned later in 2026. The next point to watch is whether developers and node operators adopt the platform quickly enough to turn EarthNodes into a meaningful layer for autonomous economic activity.
