Two new exchange-traded products (ETPs) from investment manager 21Shares are set to debut in the coming hours. These will be physically backed by ETHFI (ether.fi) and Zcash (ZEC) tokens on the Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris exchanges. Both instruments trade under the tickers ETHFI and ZCASH, carrying an annual management fee of 2.50% and utilizing third-party custody to guarantee direct backing of the underlying assets.

This dual listing significantly broadens the scope of regulated exposure available to traditional investors across Europe. On one hand, ETHFI provides regulated access to the liquid restaking and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem powered by ether.fi; on the other, the Zcash vehicle addresses renewed institutional demand for cryptographic privacy and shielded transactions supported by zero-knowledge proofs.

With listings denominated in both US dollars and euros, 21Shares reinforces its leadership in introducing niche altcoins to premier European exchanges. The next step for the European market will be gauging institutional adoption volumes against the usual regulatory scrutiny surrounding privacy-focused assets and DeFi protocols.
