OKX, a leading Web3 technology company, continues to expand its Ethereum-based Zero Knowledge (ZK) Layer 2 network. The testnet network has onboarded eight new projects, demonstrating its versatility and potential in a controlled environment.

The eight projects integrated with OKX’s Layer 2 testnet include Relation, Entangle, Layer3, DMC, Everest Ventures Group, KEOM, FBPay, and Wanchain. These integrations will help OKX demonstrate the network’s viability.

Relation is an innovative solution encoding social relationships on Web3, while Entangle is a customizable and interoperable data infrastructure built for institutions and Web3. Layer3 is a platform for powerful, interactive user experiences. DMC is an open-source blockchain platform for stable and decentralized storage services.

Everest Ventures Group is a company that specializes in the incubation and investment of projects in the Web3 domain. One of their projects, KEOM, is a suite of trading products that are enhanced by artificial intelligence and powered by Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs.

FBPay serves as a rapid entry point into the world of Web3, facilitating swift purchases of cryptocurrencies. Wanchain, another project under their umbrella, is a sustainable, Proof-of-Stake (PoS) Layer 1 blockchain that also functions as a decentralized solution for blockchain interoperability.

D8X is a platform that enables users to engage in decentralized trading of a broad spectrum of derivatives. The recent integration with OKX’s Layer 2 ecosystem has expanded the trading possibilities available to D8X users. This amalgamation of D8X and OKX’s Layer 2 offers both users and developers a chance to delve into the functionalities of OKX’s Layer 2 network within a regulated setting.

OKX’s Layer 2 testnet, which was launched in November 2023, has successfully drawn the interest of more than 170 projects. The network’s foundation is the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK), which guarantees a high level of security and scalability, while also minimizing transaction costs. Its compatibility with Ethereum enables the smooth and secure implementation of DApps based on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

OKX’s Layer 2 serves as the new native network, aiming to provide users and developers access to the world’s biggest blockchain ecosystems. This protocol, which is both state-of-the-art and user-friendly, has been specifically designed to cater to the needs of builders, creators, and enthusiasts in the Web3 space.

OKX also provides a comprehensive suite of products, including the OKX Wallet, a decentralized exchange (DEX), an NFT Marketplace, and Web3 DeFi for staking on about 70 protocols across over 10 chains. The support of these eight projects for the Layer 2 testnet enables OKX to more effectively showcase the adaptability, capabilities, and potential of its Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Layer 2 network.
