BitGo Holdings Inc. announced the launch of Link, a new tool designed to connect its clients’ institutional accounts on external exchanges —such as Coinbase, Kraken and Crypto.com— directly to its custody platform. Link targets treasury teams that manage digital assets distributed across multiple venues and need a single view to operate efficiently.
Link offers a unified interface to view and move digital assets both in BitGo custody and on centralized exchanges. The platform provides real-time visibility across accounts and subaccounts, and allows users to initiate transfers to rebalance positions between venues, cover margin or liquidity needs, and capitalize on market opportunities.
BitGo Link: One Command Center for Institutional Treasury
All transfers made through Link are routed through BitGo’s Policy Engine, the system that applies additional permission controls to determine how funds are used. The tool also automatically reconciles each transfer against the records of the corresponding exchange and monitors its status through to final settlement.
“Link turns BitGo into the command center for institutional treasury and trading,” said Mike Belshe, CEO of the company. “One network, no borders: governance travels with capital, wherever it moves.”

The launch coincides with a particular moment for BitGo. The firm went public in January 2026, shortly after receiving conditional approval to obtain a trust bank license in the United States, alongside companies such as Circle and Ripple. In June, however, it reduced its headcount by 15% after reporting net losses in the first quarter: revenue grew 112.6% year-over-year to $3.8 billion, while net losses expanded to $60.7 million compared to $25.7 million in the prior year.
Link is built on BitGo’s Go Network, which already offers settlement and liquidity access services within its qualified custody platform. The company indicated that it will add support for additional exchanges and new treasury features in the coming months.
