Bitfinex said that it has added support for XAUT0 deposits and withdrawals on Celo, expanding the ways customers can move tokenized gold on its platform. In the official Bitfinex blog announcement, the exchange said the integration went live at 10:00 AM UTC.
The move affects Bitfinex users seeking access to XAUT0 through Celo, which the company described as a fast, low-cost network built for real-world payments and transfers. Bitfinex said the rollout extends its multi-chain support for XAUT0 after earlier integrations with TON, Solana, and Plasma, while also allowing customers to convert XAUT0 and XAUt at a 1:1 ratio through its Currency Conversion tool.
For now, the key point is that the service is already live rather than pending. Bitfinex said users can access XAUT0 through the platform immediately, though U.S. persons and other prohibited users remain restricted under the exchange’s terms of service.
