Is ZCash the Shiba Inu of this Bull Run? Analysts Believe It May Be This Altcoin Dubbed ‘XRP 2.0’ Instead

Table of Contents

The crypto world loves a comparison; if you’re the active one in the space, questions such as“will this be the next Dogecoin?” or “could that be the next XRP?” shouldn’t be new to you. Right now, that pairing is between the venerable Zcash (ZEC) and the irrepressible Shiba Inu.

However, interestingly, some analysts are suggesting Zcash might end up playing a different role entirely, not as a meme token like Shiba, but as the next big narrative behind infrastructure and privacy, maybe even a contender for the title of “XRP 2.0” with this all-new Ethereum-based PayFi altcoin.

Shiba Inu: What the Comparison Implies

You probably became aware of Shiba Inu from a friend or social media group/page, thanks to its community fervour, viral momentum, and big ROI rewards accompanied by equivalent risks. Meme enthusiasts love it for its low price, high supply, and fast moves.

If Zcash were to mimic SHIB, it would mean a wild ride upward with lots of noise and little infrastructure to back it. But when you look at ZEC’s fundamentals, things don’t line up exactly with that script.

Zcash: Quiet, Established But Not Without Momentum

Zcash has quietly drawn attention this cycle. According to recent commentary, ZEC has logged a strong rally and some analysts argue that its current structure resembles what XRP experienced more closely than a pure meme pump.

For instance, one piece titled “Why the ongoing Zcash pump could be bigger than XRP’s: Analyst predicts 20x spike” argues that ZEC has the supply, legacy and market positioning to make a serious move.

That narrative gives Zcash potential up-sides that go beyond meme status. The current commentary suggests a speculative price target near $750 in the short term. Still, ZEC isn’t exactly screaming “viral meme coin”. It’s more mid-tier infrastructure with speculative upside.

‘XRP 2.0’: Where Remittix Enters the Frame

Now, here’s where the plot thickens. Analysts are using the term “XRP 2.0” to describe some up-and-coming altcoins, not necessarily Zcash, but rather projects like the all-new Ethereum-based PayFi altcoin, Remittix (RTX), which they believe align with the XRP narrative (payments, utility and mainstream bridge).

In other words:

  • Zcash = “Could this be the next meme-turning-large-cap move?”
  • Remittix = “This might be the real successor to XRP’s payments story.”

So, if you’re eyeing Shiba Inu and Zcash right now, the question you would likely be asking is if we are backing a viral meme (SHIB) or a legacy privacy/infrastructure play (ZEC)? And meanwhile, projects like Remittix may already be in the conversation for what comes after platforms like XRP.

So, Which Story Are You Buying?

If you believe the next wave is driven by community and meme power, then Shiba Inu might fit your mindset: high volatility, high risk, potential high return. And if you believe utility, regulation, privacy and infrastructure are the dominant themes ahead, then Zcash starts to look interesting; less hype, more substance.

However, if you believe the future is about crypto bridging into real-world payments (crypto-to-fiat), then look at how Remittix is building quietly in the background.
