Coinbase has chosen Chainlink as its oracle infrastructure to deliver continuous price data for its newly launched tokenized stocks on Base. Through Chainlink Data Feeds, developers and protocols across the ecosystem will gain access to real-time pricing for key assets such as NVDAc, AAPLc, METAc, and GOOGLc, streamlining the integration of U.S. equities into lending and decentralized finance applications.

This partnership turns tokenized stocks on Base into programmable, collateralizable financial instruments available 24/7. Issued under the B20 standard and backed 1:1 by real shares held in regulated custody with Alpaca under the ADGM framework, these assets bridge traditional finance with the DeFi sector, allowing millions of users to trade, lend, and borrow against equities without traditional intermediaries.

The rollout paves the way for lending platforms, decentralized exchanges, and structured products to start listing these assets immediately. In the coming months, the consolidation of these institutional feeds on Base is set to serve as a benchmark to accelerate the widespread tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).
