The Ethereum Foundation has released the list of its Fourth Wave grantees and it includes 20 applicants who in total have received $3 million, two entities received $1 million the biggest allocation in this fourth wave cohorts.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> These entities are <strong>Prysmatic Labs<\/strong> and <strong>Status<\/strong> who made applications to the client diversity pool. <span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\">Both companies are involved in the development of Ethereum 2.0 announced last year by Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\">Another company, <strong>Spankchain<\/strong>, received $ 420,000 in grants for their work in a software development kit (SDK). <span class=\"\">This is a hub for non-custodial payment channels.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">In announcing the grant list, the Ethereum Foundation tweeted on its public page announcing the grantee list that was updated on the official blog. The categories involve the following: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li lang=\"en-US\">Scalability.<\/li>\n<li lang=\"en-US\">Security.<\/li>\n<li lang=\"en-US\">Usability (DevEx).<\/li>\n<li lang=\"en-US\">(#BUIDL).<\/li>\n<li lang=\"en-US\">Hackternships.<\/li>\n<li lang=\"en-US\">Client Diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\">This fourth tranche was awarded to 20 entities that have been working on different projects in the network,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scalability &#8211; Non-Custodial Payment Channel Hub\u200b\u200b \u2013 Spankchain -$420K<\/li>\n<li>Prototypal\u200b\u200b \u2013 $375K<\/li>\n<li>Finality Labs\u200b\u200b \u200b\u200b\u2013 $250K<\/li>\n<li>Kyokan\u200b\u200b \u200b\u200b\u2013 $250K<\/li>\n<li>Atomic Cross-Chain Transactions \u2013 $65K<\/li>\n<li>EthSnarks\u200b\u200b \u200b\u200b\u2013 $40K<\/li>\n<li>Security &#8211; Flintstones \u2013 $120K<\/li>\n<li>Usability (DevEx) &#8211; TrueBlocks \u200b\u200b\u2013 $120K<\/li>\n<li>Gitcoin\u200b\u200b \u2013 $100K<\/li>\n<li>VulcanizeDB \u200b\u200b\u2013 $75K<\/li>\n<li>Buidler \u200b\u200b\u2013 $50K<\/li>\n<li>Ethdoc\u200b\u200b \u2013 $25K<\/li>\n<li>Ethers.js\u200b\u200b \u2013 $25K<\/li>\n<li>Kauri\u200b\u200b \u2013 $25K<\/li>\n<li>(#BUIDL) &#8211; Magic Money Tree (Dark Crystal) \u2013 $50K<\/li>\n<li>Hackternships &#8211; Elizabeth Binks\u200b\u200b \u2013 $10K<\/li>\n<li>Lindsey Gray\u200b\u200b \u2013 $10K<\/li>\n<li>Client Diversity &#8211; Sigma Prime\u200b\u200b \u2013 $150K<\/li>\n<li>Prysmatic Labs \u2013 $500K<\/li>\n<li>Status \u200b\u200b\u2013 $500K<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crypto-economy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/eth-dev.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-105664\" src=\"https:\/\/crypto-economy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/eth-dev.jpg\" alt=\"OmiseGo, Cosmos, Golem, Maker, Raiden and Global Brain\" width=\"696\" height=\"433\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\">At the launch, the foundation expressed its gratitude to the developers and other collaborators of the network.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><em><span class=\"\">&#8220;Thank you to all the fantastic members of the community who have applied creative ideas on how to strengthen our ecosystem, we would not exist without the time and energy that they put into Ethereum, as long as the program continues to grow, we will continue to get more involved.<\/span> <span class=\"\">the community in the decision-making process. &#8220;<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">In a previous grant release blog post where it defined some of the rules and vision for the grants program, the foundation stated that<strong> for an applicant to qualify for a grant, they need to have proven their ingenuity and dedication to solving Ethereum challenges.<\/strong> The winners of the grant are afforded four main things on top of their monetary gains:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Non-dilutive funding<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium\">A technical advisory from some of the best in the industry<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Connection to more users and Ethereum developers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium\">A platform to share their work<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium\">The Ethereum Foundation is now open for applications for the fifth cohort.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/pruebas.crypto-economy.com\/ethereum-community-fund-the-initiative-of-several-ethereum-based-projects\/\">Ethereum Capital Fund was created by six large-scale blockchain projects.<\/a><\/strong> These are <strong>OmiseGo<\/strong>, <strong>Cosmos<\/strong>, <strong>Golem<\/strong>, <strong>Maker<\/strong>, <strong>Raiden<\/strong> and <strong>Global Brain<\/strong>, the Japanese venture capital that announced it was setting aside $100 million for various blockchain projects that are based on the Ethereun network.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Buterin<\/strong> who has personally been involved in donating to Ethereum based project development announced that he would act as an advisor to the fund.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">At $207, Ethereum is down 1.04 percent in the past 24 hours. It would be safe to posit that the coin is still struggling to surmount the $208- $209 resistance barrier.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On the hourly chart, data from Kraken shows that the present support is at $205 even though trend shows that a lack of bullish momentum could push prices lower towards the $202 region before any hope of rebound.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s yet another season of giving at the Ethereum [ETH] camp.
