The perpetrator used Tornado Cash to obscure the trail of funds. DO NOT STAKE in this contract and if you&#8217;ve approved it, REVOKE\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">MetaDAO Twitter handle is now showing nothing and its <a href=\"https:\/\/metadao.sh\/cgi-sys\/suspendedpage.cgi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> is currently unavailable per a suspension. A <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@dfvtoken\/the-metadao-thatll-build-a-new-universe-458380dfcbd3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medium post<\/a> explaining MetaDAO says \u201cmetaDAO is the DAO of DAOs\u201d that will build a new universe. The platform was to be powered by DFV tokens. Another post explaining the project\u2019s background cites WallStreetBets legend Keith Gill and the GameStop short squeeze that occurred earlier this year as the inspiration behind the project.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>MetaSwapMGAS: Another Rug Pull<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">But that\u2019s not it. Earlier on Monday, December 27, <strong>the firm report another possible rug pull event resulting in the loss of 1100 BNB<\/strong>. The project involved was named MetaSwapMGAS. Rug Pulls do not account for much of the money lost in <a href=\"https:\/\/crypto-economy.com\/defi-exploits-in-2021-a-compilation-of-defi-crimes\/\">DeFi crimes<\/a> but they are frequent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Perhaps the most famous rug pull incident occurred last when a hit Netflix series Squid Game inspired BSC-based Project SQUID token crashed 99.99%<\/strong> when buyers caught on that the token was not affiliated with the show.
