Popular Taiwanese electronics manufacturer HTC, the manufacturer of the Exodus 1 and 1s blockchain smartphones has partnered with Bitcoin.com, the company behind the fourth largest cryptocurrency network by market capitalization Bitcoin Cash.

The reportedly long term relationship will allow HTC to enable support for the BCH altcoin on its flagship phones and Bitcoin.com featuring the HTC phones on its online store. Announcing the partnership through a press release, Bitcoin.com stated that the two companies have begun a “long-term, mutually beneficial partnership to drive innovation and adoption of crypto technologies.”

One notable feature with this partnership is that Bitcoin Cash will be natively supported on the two blockchain phones meaning that the BCH wallet will be preloaded once the users purchase the phones. It will not be necessary to download the software. Of course, for those users who already have the Exodus devices, they will need to download an upgrade to their current device software to receive the BCH wallet.
